Kanvas is the envisioned dream of Lisa Mergel, a native of New Jersey and FSU graduate. After traveling the world as a corporate event planner, Lisa decided to follow her dream. In 2003, Lisa went to beauty school in New York City and became a liscensed esthetician and make-up artist. After graduation, she worked for numerous presigious make-up and skincare lines, including Darphin, MD Skincare, T. LeClerc, Sonya Dakar, Chantecaille, Prada, Yves St Laurent, and Dr. Perricone. She represented these lines and more at Neiman Marcus, Bergdoff Goodman, and Barneys NY. After gaining valueable knowledge from the leaders in the industry, Lisa came back to Tallahassee to open her own business.
Kanvas is a beauty apothecary & spa located in Tallahassee, Florida. We have over 25 different high-end product lines never before found in the Tallahassee Metro area, including skincare, haircare, bodycare, & make-up. Kanvas Spa has two estheticians, Lisa & Ashley, and offers facial, massage, and waxing.
